It’s just about a month to the Territorial Worship Arts Retreat (February 20-22) and all the elements are coming together nicely for a great weekend.

I’ve been asked many questions regarding the weekend; let me try to answer some.

Who are the special guests? We have Colonels Robert and Gwenyth Redhead as our main speakers, gifted and inspiring leaders who will bring us invaluable insight into the theme “Engaging Worship.” Our worship leader and elective teacher Marty Mikles, Southern Territory’s music evangelism and worship director, also brings a wealth of experience to the weekend.

What are the main electives? We have five main electives: Praise and Worship, Dance, Drama, Film and Media Creation, and Painting in Worship.

What is “Painting in Worship”? This is a new elective where delegates will learn how creative expression and visual arts can be incorporated into congregational worship. As with all the electives, the classes will be a good mixture of theoretical and practical.

Will we learn something? Absolutely! Each of the elective leaders are specialized in what they do and so even if you know a lot yourself you will still be able to pick up something new.

Does it only cost $25? YES! You just have to get yourself there. If you’re flying let us know ahead of time and we’ll pick you up from the airport. Your only other responsibility is to provide your own sleeping bag, pillow and towels…a bargain!

Am I too late? Not yet. There’s still time… hurry!
