Brigadier Martha Pauline Hansen was promoted to Glory on March 3. Hansen was born Jan. 9, 1916, in Spokane, Wash. She had a twin sister, Lena. The family attended the Ballard Corps in northwest Seattle. Hansen graduated from high school in 1934.
