With more than 20 years in music and children’s ministry, Donnie Rasmussen of Irvine, California is fast becoming one of the most sought-after, children oriented, music-and-Word ministries in memory.

His engaging way with children and compelling musical styles make his “God’s House of Praise” concerts and CD an enriching and enjoyable encounter for “kids” of all ages. In addition to his stirring music, his thematic worship encounters are well planned and doctrinally sound.

Donnie, who grew up in The Salvation Army, attended the Pasadena Tabernacle Corps for over 10 years before moving to Orange County, California and becoming the director of Youth and Children’s Ministries for the Tustin Ranch Corps for another five years. He acted on his calling to pursue full-time worship ministry in 2003 and founded Battle Lamb Productions. Donnie is also a worship leader, speaker, and composer and arranger of over 150 contemporary worship songs for “grown ups,” and has led worship for WYI’s, Life Service conferences, many divisional youth councils, and various corps events, as well as international conferences and events.

Donnie is married with two daughters. His parents are Salvation Army officers in Santa Rosa, California.
