Finita Gallagher

Long-time Western Territory soldier Finita Gallagher was promoted to Glory on March 3, 2006 at the age of 90. She was a faithful soldier at the Phoenix Citadel and Glendale, Arizona, corps for over 40 years, serving as Home League secretary and corps pianist.

For many years Finita worked as the camp nurse in the Southwest and Southern California divisions. In retirement she and her husband, Andy, managed Silvercrest Residences in Phoenix and Los Angeles.

She is survived by her daughter, Major Kathy Bryant; brother, Major Charles Wikle; niece, Major Carol Hassler; and granddaughters, Captain Jeanne Shannon and Kathleen Farmer.

A memorial service was held at the Glendale, Arizona corps.
