Nicole Dame

Nicole Dame is an outstanding young person at our corps in Eureka, California. When she sets her mind to do something, she does it!

She came to The Salvation Army through the beginning band program, and was determined to learn to play the cornet. She remained faithful to this pursuit, learning and excelling so rapidly that within a few months she was the top cornet player in the band.

An excellent pianist as well, Nicole has composed many pieces. She shares her talents at the corps, and people are always blessed when she plays.

In the community, Nicole puts her leadership skills to work with the Key Club—she is currently Key Club Division 20 Lt. Governor, and has done a lot to the make the club fun and exciting.

He parents are very supportive, always encouraging her to do her best. The Dames began attending the corps two years ago when the band was on duty for Advent Sundays. Soon after they decided to make the Army their church home.

Nicole continues to amaze us. In a world where many think that young people are getting out of control, it is nice to see a teenage girl who gives all control to God!
