2014-15 MyServe program participants announced

The Salvation Army Western Territorial Youth Department announced the names of the five individuals selected for participation in the 2014-2015 MyServe program: Chelcee Humphrey—Eugene (Ore.) Corps, Cascade Division; Ashley Stillson—Pasadena Tabernacle, Southern California Division; Katelin McPhee—Coeur d’Alene (Idaho) Kroc Center Corps, Northwest Division; Zane Morris—Portland (Ore.) Tabernacle, Cascade Division; Julia Kleemann—Whittier Corps, Southern California Division.

“Out of 15 well-qualified applicants, these five individuals best fit the criteria for the MyServe program,” said Megan McQuade, children and youth outreach ministries director in the Western Territory.

The selected applicants are all Salvationists and full-time college students who are involved in leadership in their corps and have a strong desire to work for The Salvation Army in various capacities following graduation.

The MyServe program is an education and career initiative that offers internship opportunities, tuition grants of up to $7,500 per year, and leadership development opportunities for five students each year. To learn more about MyServe and how to apply, visit sayconnect.com.
