More accolades for Salem Kroc Center

In addition to the 2010 Innovative Architecture and Design Award from Recreation Management magazine (see New Frontier Vol. 28, issue 9), The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center in Salem, Ore., has received two more awards: the 2009 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Award of Merit from the Salem Chapter of the AIA and first place in the category Private Buildings—$15.1M to $50M in the Daily Journal of Commerce’s Top Projects.

Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture was the building designer for the center.
