Recently, General and Mrs. Bramwell Tillsley (Ret.) visited the Portland Moore Street Corps, for a weekend themed “Holiness—living a life for God’s purpose.”

Friday evening focused on teens and college age youth from Moore Street and surrounding corps. Tillsley spoke on “what holiness is not.” John Morrow and Justin Docherty, youth pastors of Moore Street and Portland Tabernacle, put together the meeting.

Saturday morning the corps hosted a community breakfast for pastors and youth leaders, with a presentation from Tillsley titled, “That I may know him and the power of his resurrection.” Following breakfast, he led a Bible study, “Saved and sanctified,” and later a second session, “Perfect love.”

In the evening, all journeyed to Camp Kuratli, for the welcome of the new divisional leaders (see article on page 2).

On Sunday after praise and worship and prayer, Tillsley delivered the message, “The fullness of the Spirit.” Many responded to the altar call.

The Tillsleys also conducted the chapel service at divisional headquarters and spoke at the noon meeting of the Moore Street advisory council.
