M. David Schmutz, vice president & private client advisor, Wells Fargo Private Client Services, and Janet Brisco, vice president and senior trust administrator, Wells Fargo Private Client Services and Sierra Del Mar Metropolitan Advisory Board vice-chair, hosted an informal celebration to recognize grant recipients of both the Samuel and Katherine French and the Maurice Masserini Charitable Trusts—and to present the awards—at a community reception on April 20, 2005.

The French Charitable Trust awarded The Salvation Army’s Meals—and More Senior Nutrition Program for the Homebound Elderly a grant of $5,000 to purchase 1,667 meals for the frail elderly living in the City Heights and Mid-City area of San Diego.

The Trust’s total contributions to the Army include two other gifts (1990 and 2003) for a total of $30,000 in support.
