Nelly and the youth group, led by Jonathan Vasquez, praised the Lord in songs and testified to the power of prayer and the unwavering protection that God gives to those who seek him. Ferny, as he is called, thanked his mother, sister and the congregation for the event and asked to be in their prayers as he may be deployed back to Iraq in the upcoming months.
