6:30 pm Bible Bowl Rounds 1 & 2, Crestmont
The Bible Bowl Tournament will feature teams from every division in the territory. Enjoy and be amazed at the fast-paced bible knowledge of our young people. Rounds will be played Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the championship round at the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel on Saturday at 3:00pm.

10:30 am Commencement, Crestmont
The commencement ceremony held at Crestmont celebrates the academic achievements of the cadets over their two years in training. It is the culmination of their academic career, and a fitting beginning to the weekends’ festivities. This year the ceremony will include the re naming of the main buildings at the CFOT campus.

12:00 pm Picnic Lunch, Crestmont
Stay on campus at Crestmont following the Commencement Ceremony to enjoy fellowship and food.

12:00 pm Silver Star Banquet, Crestmont
The purpose of the Fellowship of the Silver Star Banquet is to recognize, honor and link in fellowship parents whose sons or daughters will be commissioned as officers in The Salvation Army in 2010.

An Army without soldiers is not going to progress far! A series of training and personal growth seminars is provided. Choose to attend one of the seminars.

Officers who have reached milestones in their service to the Army will be invited to a special Long Service lunch with territorial leaders, Commissioners Philip & Patricia Swyers.

7:00 pm Crescendo Of Praise—“To serve the present age,” Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts
An evening of celebration of praise, reflection and challenge presented by the Western Territories Territorial Band, Songster, Youth Band and Youth Chorus. This high energy and multi-sensory program will challenge the Army to be in service daily. Featuring new music, inspiring testimony, dance and drama this thrilling program of praise is one you will not want to miss.

Join us after the meeting for some live music, refreshment, and a chance to chat with your friends from around the territory.

Sunday, June 13
8:30 am Sunday school classes, Sheraton Cerritos Hotel
Start your Sunday with age-appropriate Sunday school Bible teaching. All are invited to attend. (Children ages 2-11 must be registered for childcare if they are to attend Sunday school).

10:00 am Commissioning and Ordination Meeting, Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts
The Commissioning and Ordination service is a sacred and solemn gathering wherein the cadets are ordained as ministers of the gospel and commissioned as officers of The Salvation Army. Two years of intense training for the cadets culminates in this spiritual, poignant ceremony, as the cadets are sworn in as officers with the rank of lieutenant.
Cost: $10

12:00 pm Lunch Fellowship, Sheraton Courtyard
Lunch between the meetings is provided for everyone who attends one of the Sunday meetings. Lunch, provided by In & Out and El Pollo Loco, is provided in a picnic setting with the Territorial Youth Band and Chorus providing a musical feast to accompany the food!

12:30 pm Concert of Music, Sheraton Courtyard
A chance to hear the dynamic Territorial Youth Chorus and Youth band while eating lunch in the courtyard. Be sure to be present to support our young people.
Cost: Free2:30 pm Service of Appointments and Retirement of Commissioners Swyers, Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts
In this meeting, the new Lieutenants are given their first appointments as Salvation Army Officers. As they receive their first appointment we will also give thanks to God for the faithful service of Commissioners Philip & Patricia Swyers as they conclude their active service and enter the ranks of retired. It will be a time of celebration and excitement bringing our Commissioning weekend to a climax.

OTHER INFORMATION:

CHILDCARE
Childcare will be provided for the Saturday evening and Sunday meetings only. Childcare registration is a single fee for the entire weekend–childcare for individual meetings is not available. Please note that if your registration form does not include parental / guardian signatures, the whole form, including ticket orders, will be returned and not processed. You will receive notification of your childcare registration with your tickets, and you must present this to the Childcare staff when you arrive for the first session.

Childcare will be held in the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel, and will open 45 minutes before the start of each meeting, and close 30 minutes after the end. Please be prompt!

REGISTRATION FORMS
All registration forms must arrive at THQ with payment included. Please note that we are NOT accepting Salvation Army checks, all payments must be with a personal check or Credit Card. There is a maximum of 5 tickets per order form. All the information must be completed correctly before the registration form will be processed. Please do NOT order tickets that you are not going to be able to use.

RESOURCE CONNECTION
Resource Connection will be onsite at Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts during the weekend.
