SAN FRANCISCO–Counselor needed for 136 bed residential rehabilitation program. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, San Francisco, is looking for a counselor to work with the men and women in our program. The position is a full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday position with a requirement for some day and some evening work. The person hired will meet the following criteria: 1. MUST be a woman. 2. MUST be a Christian. Preference given to Salvationists. 3. MUST have experience counseling addicts and alcoholics. Preference given to CADC certification or equivalent. Education may supplement but not replace experience requirements. 4. Individual, group and didactic counseling skills required. 5. If recovering, MUST have at least three years sober. Preference given to over 4 years of sobriety.
