Dawn Wright and Robert Brennan of the Southern California Division received the Western Territory’s Calendar Guy/Gal Award in recognition of their public relations efforts.

The Community Relations and Development Department gives the award to The Salvation Army employee or officer in the West who turns in the best body of work during the six-month judging period. It is based on sending calendar releases to the news media to get Salvation Army events listed on the community calendar of the newspaper, television or radio station.

Entries are judged on a points system for each calendar news release distributed and for each time the calendar item appears in a local media outlet.

Congratulations to both Dawn and Robert and their longtime assistant, Sharon Mills
