BRIGADIER BURL WYATT was promoted to glory on Tuesday, July 3 from Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, CO.

Brigadiers Burl and Pat Wyatt retired from the Southern Territory. For the past 19 years the Wyatts have lived in the Trinidad area in the Inter-mountain Division.

Brigadier is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, David and Timothy; one brother, Richard, of New Braunfels, TX; sister-in-law Mrs. Brigadier Basil (Georgia) Wyatt (R) of Orlando, FL; and three grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Mullare-Murphy Funeral Home in Trinidad, CO. Mes-sages of comfort may be sent to Mrs. Brigadier Pat Wyatt at 1301 Nevada Avenue, Trinidad, CO 81082.

 


Lifetime Salvationist and bandsman HERBERT A. DICK was promoted to glory on July 18, 2001 from his daughter’s home in Agoura Hills, CA.

Herb was born in Vancouver, B. C., Canada on May 30, 1922. While still a teenager, his family transferred to the Mount Pleasant Corps in Vancouver. There he met his wife Jane “Nan” Davies. They married in September 1941. Herb and Nan had two daughters, Lorraine and Elaine.

The Dick family moved to Encino, CA in 1953 and attended the Los Angeles Congress Hall Corps. He was a faithful bandsman and assistant record sergeant until they transferred to the Van Nuys (now San Fernando Valley) corps around 1979, where he served as a bandsman and corps treasurer.

Captains Luis and Abigail Diaz led the service of remembrance at the San Fernando Valley Corps.

Herb is survived by his wife, Nan; daughters Lorraine Andreasen and Elaine McCreary; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
