KETTLES FILLED WITH KINDNESS, CASH

San Francisco’s Celebrity Bell Ringing Day in Union Square attracted scores of celebrity bell ringers and enthusiastic passers-by.

In addition, Snow White and a singing Christmas tree from Beach Blanket Babylon, Raiderettes, assorted Bay Area team mascots and cast members from the hit musical, “Mamma Mia,” joined in the fund-raising event.

San Francisco Chief of Protocol Charlotte Mailliard Shultz, who started the event 20 years ago, was honored by The Salvation Army this year. Shultz is married to former Secretary of State George Shultz.
