Promoted Glory

MARIE MCKAY HANSEN–was recently promoted to Glory in Lynwood, Wash. She was born in 1897. Introduced to The Salvation Army in California in the 1930s, she later became a long time member of the Seattle Temple Corps.

She was a Home League secretary, Silver Star mother, and faithful bell-ringer. Her life of dignity, patriotism and generosity has been an inspiration to her family and friends. She is survived by one daughter, 11 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.

ETHEL VICTORIA VENNUM–former officer and long time soldier, was promoted to Glory recently from Portland, Ore., two days from her 98th birthday.

Ethel was a faithful soldier of the Portland Moore Street Corps, having received her 75 year soldiership pin some time ago.
