Right from their fingertips, Salvation Army advisory board members nationwide can access a wealth of information. The website MySABoard.org offers features like “Latest News” and “Notes From The Field” and provides an established way of keeping advisory board members apprised of events throughout The Salvation Army—beyond their own communities. Easy to navigate and continually updated, the site will help facilitate ideas among members in areas such as fundraising and best practices.

MySABoard.org—Key Features
National Advisory Organizations Conference—NAOC 2011
The “Just Imagine”-themed NAOC 2011 will take place at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Not only can advisory organization members sign up to receive conference updates, they can also complete on-line registration, view conference schedules and workshops, access hotel information and make reservations.

My SA Board
Advisory board members can register to access “My SA Board,” which offers myriad resources including access to the Advisory Organizations Training Manual, Orientation Guide and a best practices search engine. My SA Board also includes downloadable PDF files of brochures, Doing The Most Good manifestos, print ads, and logos, as well as the 2009 National Annual Report.

National Advisory Board
MySABoard.org users can familiarize themselves with the National Advisory Board (NAB) members—viewing photos and brief descriptions of all active NAB members. Also included is a photo section for emeritus and life members and the past chairman circle. Future content will provide member bios and spotlights of local advisory board members with honorable achievements.
