In April, the cadets of the New Mexico Military Institute held a parade, followed by a barbecue, at Stapp Field in Roswell. The parade arose from a request aimed at getting the word out about National Salvation Army Week, May 9-15. Captains Ramon and Amanda Perez are Roswell corps officers.
