Over 150 men gathered together for a three-day men’s camp in Fiji.

Over 150 delegates gathered in Labasa, Fiji, for Men’s Camp Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. Themed “Band of Brothers,” the main sessions focused on “Signing Up,” “Armour of God” and “Going Home.”

Major Don Gilger, divisional secretary for the Cascade Division, USA Western Territory, was special guest. Territorial Leaders Commissioners Donald and Debora Bell, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga Territory, also attended. The Bells are USA Western Territory officers serving overseas.

Weekend activities included a march of witness, an open-air event and discussion groups after each of the main meetings. On Sunday afternoon, the men visited the local prison, a home for the elderly and a hospital to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the residents.

Results of the weekend were notable: 18 men made decisions for Christ, 50 committed to put on the full armour of God and 75 pledged themselves to the holy life.

The Fiji Sun featured a national news story on the retreat.
