Win One Woman initiative to continue through 2008.

by Pat Swyers, Commissioner –

Psalm 40:5 says, “Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.” We in the Women’s Section are rejoicing over the blessings of 2007 as we recount a five percent increase in our Women’s Ministries and Home League programs across the territory. We congratulate our women officers and soldiers who prayed, planned, and pursued their goal to WIN ONE WOMAN for God and the Army.
We are happy to announce that the WOW INITIATIVE will continue through 2008 and 2009 as we seek to WIN OUR WORLD by reaching out to the families in our communities, in our corps programs, and in our circle of friends.
We will continue to share the stories of how God is working in the lives of our people. The wonders of God are indeed too many to declare, but look at some of the WOW results in our fundamental purposes as recorded throughout our territory in 2007 and join with us in giving thanks to God who has blessed us in abundant measure:

Seekers 1 1,776
(accepted the Lord for the first time)

Seekers 2 8,241
(came to pray at the altar
for various reasons)

Soldiers Enrolled 442

Adherents Made 228

New Families Reached 1,035

Yes, and the WOW goes on and on and on!
