Corner column
Thank you for your column (March 14, 2000) which began, “Why have I hung around the Army so long?” I’ve read it so many times, gotten so many chuckles, and laugh every time I read it. I’m thinking of laminating it because it’s getting torn and frayed around the edges. I’m going to make copies for my friends so they can have chuckles that might brighten their days.

“Saved to save”
The March 22, 2001 issue of New Frontier read “Saved to Serve.” In the March 3, 2001 Salvationist, it correctly identifies the Founder’s motto: “Saved to Save.” What a more appropriate motto.
