The Great Victory Congress isn’t just for grown-ups! The Army of the future will also have a Congress (and we are going to have FUN!)

The theme of the Junior Soldier Rally and Worship Service is “Oh, What Fun!” based on Psalm 4:7: You have filled my heart with greater joy. Being a Christian is fun, and we are going to have a lot of it. Nothing dreary and boring during our Congress!

There are age-appropriate activities planned for everyone, from babies to teenagers. Child care will be available for all children 6 years of age and under. Children 7 to 12 years of age will be involved in the Junior Soldier Rally, and teenagers will have a “Victory is Mine” Youth Rally. All of it will be great fun!

The Junior Soldier Rally will start at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Activities will include Donnie and Pam Rasmussen leading the singing, “Happy Seats” with prizes, and balloons for every Junior Soldier. There will be some very special surprise guests that you will not want to miss. Captain Linda Manhardt, Divisional Youth Secretary from the Sierra Del Mar Division, will present an exciting object lesson. Added to all that will be a large number of young people from around the territory who will be featured. And after the rally, there will be a carnival with a large number of games, inflatables, prizes–and LOTS OF FUN!

On Sunday, lunch with your family will be followed by an afternoon of activities sponsored by each division. There won’t be any time to be bored. Crafts, movies, refreshments, exciting adventures, and more will fill the day. You will not be disappointed. Your parents will also be able to have a good time because they can be assured that you are properly and safely supervised, having a marvelous time, and getting something special from the Congress.

So remind your parents to make sure YOU are registered for the Congress. Then prepare yourself for FUN!
