Sumner and Nancy Dodge

After more than a decade of devoted service, Las Vegas Public Relations Director Sumner Dodge has entered retirement.

When Sumner and Nancy Dodge arrived in Las Vegas, NV, in 1990 from Phoenix, AZ, they already were faithful Salvation Army soldiers.

Since then, Sumner has become the most recognizable–and quotable–representative of nonprofit social service agencies in Southern Nevada. When the media members need to know what is happening in the world of helping people, Sumner is undoubtedly their first call.

He and Nancy bring new meaning to the phrase “helping others.” Their model of dedication, devoutness, and strong Christian beliefs are of great value to all. Sumner may be “retiring” now, but only in the literal sense; both he and Nancy will almost certainly continue to give loving support to the Army.
