Crestmont moves toward B.A. degree
New program would have four majors; pilot in June
Under the leadership of Colonel Phil Needham, Chief Secretary, a steering committee is being formed to clarify objectives, identify financial and personnel resources, and recommend time parameters for meeting objectives to plan for a Center for Educational Training, to be located on the West’s Crestmont campus.
With Territorial Headquarters relocating to Long Beach late this spring, space utilization proposals committing Crestmont resources to a full service training center are now being considered.
One program component has already been proposed as a pilot. It would consist of four specially designed degree programs for officers: Bible and Christian Ministries, Applied Management and Leadership, Caring Ministries, and Creative Ministries.
Another pilot is being considered for launch later this year: an intensive nine-month training program for youth ministries leadership.
