SACRAMENTO–Resident manager: Provides counseling, casework services and referrals, determines eligibility and registers shelter clients for 220-bed homeless shelter. Provides immediate supervision for Unit Managers and counseling staff as well as on-the-job training for all program monitors. Qualifications: High school diploma required. College degree or certification in social service or related field preferred. Minimum of two years experience in social services required with non-profit agency preferred. Knowledge of behavior modification/social model programs. Typing 40 wpm preferred. Filing, telephone, spelling and correct grammar required. The Board of Trustees of the William and Catherine Booth College invites nominations and applications for the position of President. The William and Catherine Booth College, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, exists to equip men and women for the integration of Christian faith with life in the contemporary world. It is an accredited undergraduate degree granting institution, which is sponsored by The Salvation Army. The College is also an Approved Teaching Centre of the University of Manitoba and a member of the Winnipeg Theological Consortium.

The ideal candidate should:
Demonstrate exemplary qualities of spiritual leadership as a soldier of The Salvation Army in good standing; exhibit visionary leadership to fulfill the mission of the college; be outstanding in communication skills to be a collaborative leader and decision maker; have significant experience in higher education; have an earned doctorate.

The new president is expected to assume office no later than July 1, 2000.
