Carrying on the tradition

SPC Norman Reimers, Jr., of Riverside, Calif., rings a bell dressed in his army uniform. His grandfather, Overton Clarence, was the CSM of the Rita Corps in Majuro, Marshall Islands.

Reimers is a three-year veteran of the US Army and served a year in Iraq. He is scheduled for deployment to Afghanistan in April 2010.
