NAOC to Meet in ’99

National Advisory Organizations members will gather in Pasadena, Calif., April 29 – May 2, 1999 for the National Advisory Organizations Conference. More than 2,500 are expected to attend.

Joining them will be General Paul A. Rader and Commissioner Kay F. Rader, recording artist Reba McEntire, and keynote speaker Ambassador Andrew Young.

“The last advisory conference of the 20th century will be a rich one,” says National Advisory Board Chairman Steven S. Reinemund, “where we gather together to chart a course of service to our Lord into the next millennium.”

According to co-chairs Jonathan Kilmer and Sally Harris, the goal of the conference, which has the theme “Joining Forces,” is to make each attendee more knowledgeable about The Salvation Army and its work.
