Information you need

Commissioning weekend is only a couple of months away, and the following information is important as you plan to join in this wonderful celebration.

Guests – We are pleased to have sharing in ministry with us Commissioners Ivan and Heather Lang from Australia. These officers have served with distinction and will bring several powerful messages from God’s word to us.

Hotel Information – The Sheraton Hotel at Cerritos has discounted rooms for us at $119 per night. These rooms are available for booking until May 17 or until they are sold out, so you will need to make your reservations soon.

Ticket Information – A ticket is required for events being held at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts: Live 07, Friday at 7:00 p.m.; Gospel Arts Celebration, Saturday at 7:00 p.m.; the Sunday meetings 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. You can order your tickets by using the form to the left, downloading an order form online at usawest.org or through your corps officer. While there is no charge for these events, please only order the number of tickets you will use so we can avoid turning people away. The performing arts center is requesting that everyone be in their seats 10 minutes prior to the start of the events. Order tickets by May 14.

The Commencement exercises and Bible Bowl heats do not require tickets. However, if you are planning on attending the WOW Celebration you will need to register separately for that event with your corps officer.

Translation – All of the events at Cerritos Performing Arts Center will be translated; please indicate on your order form your request for translation.

Childcare – We are pleased again to provide care for your children so that you may experience the whole blessing of this weekend. For all events other than Friday evening, childcare is available for children age 11 and under. Friday evening care is available for age 6 and under—all other children should be present for Live 07. Childcare will open 45 minutes prior to the start of each meeting and close 30 minutes following its conclusion. The cost is $5.00 per child per session; please enclose payment with your ticket order form.
