According to an International News Release, International Headquarters intends to relocate to a new location in Central London. The decision not to occupy part of the new 101 Queen Victoria Street redevelopment project has followed extensive research and professional consultation.

The move will maximize the development potential of the existing site and enable an alternative facility to be developed that will promote the unique role and function of International Headquarters. The new facility can be tailored to the Army’s specific requirements, providing a pro-active and creative environment within a modern and efficient work space to foster the Army’s mission.

The Army may retain its link with the existing site in Queen Victoria Street by means of a visitor center located within space currently accommodating the Bramwell Booth Hall. This hall is situated beneath the existing walkway linking St. Paul’s Cathedral to the new millennium footbridge across the River Thames.
