Scripture is filled with principles, ethics and morals to guide us in the way of righteousness. So, whatever your occupation, whatever your life stage, whatever your ability, do so unto the Lord so that he is glorified through whatever you say and do.

Here are some Bible verses to guide an ethical lifestyle:

2 Corinthians 8:7

But as you excel in everythingin faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness and in our love for yousee that you excel in this act of grace also.

Galatians 6:9

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Proverbs 20:15

There is gold and abundance of costly stones, but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

1 Timothy 4:12

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

2 Peter 1:5-7

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection and brotherly affection with love.

Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Proverbs 4:13

Keep hold of instruction; do not let go; guard her, for she is your life.

2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Isaiah 55:10-11

For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

Micah 6:8

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Ecclesiastes 3:12

I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live.

Proverbs 10:17

Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
