Make plans now to attend the 2007 National Seminar on Evangelism (NSE)—to be held August 11-18 at the Glen Eyrie Conference Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The annual NSE conference has provided soldiers and officers with hands-on evangelism training since 1969, including experiential educational opportunities in Spanish and English language tracks relating to evangelism—corps growth, outreach, recovery corps, worship, lifestyle, young adult, integrated ministries, youth, child, inner-city, person to person—and discipleship, plus praise fellowship, testimony and worship.

Major James Baker said last year’s NSE inspired a corps evangelism team that has been active in their community ever since.
Carl Darby, territorial director of Adult Christian Education, Evangelism, Discipleship and Lay Leadership has assisted with logistics planning for NSE for the last 10 years. “I was profoundly impacted, challenged, greatly commissioned and encouraged by the evangelism and discipleship material explored during last year’s seminar,” he said.

Delegate of the 2006 NSE, Crystal Birks said of the conference, “I was able to reflect upon how God has worked through me. It brought to light my purpose—to ‘go and make disciples.’ I’m now inspired and not afraid to share.”

Major Larry Shiroma said the 2006 NSE provided him, “Tremendous spiritual impact, confirming and strengthening my passion to share God—every soldier should attend.”

Talk to your corps officer about obtaining an application to attend NSE this year—you will learn how evangelistic growth can happen in your world.
