2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö


Salvation Army in Switzerland is bidding to enter the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, hoping that their rocky song You and Me will win the national selection competition. During these days people from all over the world can vote online for their favorite song. Nine of the 178 songs will be nominated for the final show on national TV taking place in December. The winner of the show will travel to Malmö and represent Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013.

By now the Salvation Army has earned a lot of credits for its Song across various national and international media (see a selection below) and hopefully will be chosen to perform on the December show. We are taking one last effort to recruit votes throughout the International Salvation Army network. That’s why I am writing you. It would be great if you could activate your network via social media platforms and other contacts. The links at the end of the email will help you share the project.

With a Facebook account it’s easy to vote. Go to and login with your Facebook account. Then give your 4 votes to the Salvation Army (direct link: People without a Facebook account are able to register on the platform as described in English on (see on the right hand side) and afterwards vote 4 times for the Salvation Army’s song “You and me”. The platform is available in German only.

Thanks for helping the Army collect as many votes as possible and bringing it on stage in December. Closing of the voting phase is this Sunday  October 28th 2012.Please send us also all links where you have seen a promotion or announcement of this project. We think it spread all over the world and lost the over view
