In the final session of Boot Camp 4, Eugene Cho—founding and lead pastor of Quest Church and executive director of One Day’s Wages—urged youth workers to invest in themselves.

“We have pastors who are burning out because they don’t care for themselves,” Cho said. “When you are resting, exercising and living well; you are able to minister well.”

Cho said while evil and temptation exist, both can be overcome through intentionality and by understanding your weaknesses.

“We, as ministry, sometimes fall in love with the ideas we preach and don’t actually put them into practice,” he said. “Don’t be afraid of being bold.

“The greatest sermon you will ever give is how you live your life,” Cho said. “Invest in yourself.”
