Gary Lange, Ph.D., is a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice in Rancho Mirage, Calif. He holds a National and California Certification as a gambling counselor and is chairman of the training committee for the California Council on Problem Gambling. For 20 years, he has taught psychology as a professor at Cal State University, San Bernardino. He is currently writing a book for treating families of gamblers.
