I am always looking for opportunities to fellowship with my peers and to become spiritually energized for my ministry. Recently I was blessed to be part of the divisional young adult retreat at Mt. Crags Camp.

The focus for this year was refreshment and relaxation. We were able to participate in activities such as massages and facials for the women and video games and sports for the men. There was also a good amount of free time to enjoy each other’s company and to spend some personal time with God.

The most enjoyable and beneficial part of the retreat was our guest speaker, Major Michele Lescano, Tustin Ranch, Calif. corps officer, who brought messages on maturing in faith and continuing to grow in the Lord. The delegates’ spirits were renewed by her words and the inspiring worship that enhanced the message.

The young adults found it a fun and relaxing time to meet new people, catch up with old friends, and have time to get closer to the Lord.
