West provides an opportunity to deepen the worship experience.

What happens when we truly worship? What happens when we express our genuine reverence and love for God because we are brought into an awareness of his glory? Are we compelled to give him our all, even if it is costly? Do we love and worship him extravagantly…boldly?

This year’s Worship Arts Retreat will tackle these ideas about worship.

The retreat will feature guests Bart Tarman, Lacey Theatre Company, and Disney’s staff choreographer and dancer Alicia Hood. Delegates will participate in workshops for Praise and Worship teams (guitar, bass, drums, audio-visual, keyboard), filmmaking, preaching, dance and drama. On Sunday morning, Territorial Leaders Commissioners James and Carolyn Knaggs will lead the time of worship.

The retreat also offers an opportunity to network with other worship leaders in the territory. The event is not exclusive to those who lead worship in music. Soldiers, adherents, officers, and those who lead or have the potential to lead any aspect of corporate worship are encouraged to attend.

Please turn in registration forms by Jan. 3, 2011, for the early-bird registration discount ($35), or by January 17 for the regular fee ($45). Single day attendance on Saturday is available for $15.
