In the pursuit of a more integrated Army, the Western Territory is committed to seeking ways to bring together our ethnically diverse corps. For that purpose, Commissioning Weekend has been identified as a key territorial event and a perfect place to emphasize our diversity and promote cultural integration in the territory.

For the third year in a row, Commissioning Weekend will conclude with the vibrant celebration of the Latino Rally on June 12 at 4:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles Central Corps. This is a territorial event and everyone is welcome; translation in English will be provided.

Last year we were privileged to have General John and Commissioner Freda Larsson as our special guests and this year our new territorial leaders, Commissioners Philip and Patricia Swyers will be the keynote speakers at this event.

Look forward to a fiesta of the spirit, as we worship with our brothers and sisters in jubilant praise to the Lord. The Latin rhythm is sure to bring a smile to your face and joy to your soul. There will be testimonies celebrating the great work that God is accomplishing among the Latino communities we serve.
