Victory Congress

Singing Companies from across the territory will take part in a competition to be held during the Victory Congress in Long Beach.

“Every one of our 10 divisions will be holding its own Singing Company competition,” said Ivor Bosanko, territorial music director. “Each winning group will then represent its division at the Congress.”

Singing Companies must choose material from 12 songs contained in the Western Territory’s new Singing Company album, which will be available from the Trade department in January.

The competition will take place on Friday, June 6 at 2:30 p.m. in the Center Theater. Then, at 7:30 p.m., all 10 groups will perform as a massed Singing Company at the Victory Rally held in the Long Beach Arena.

“We are really looking forward to seeing and hearing our young people at the Congress,” Bosanko said.
