Western Territorial EDS Coordinator

Ken Cavallero

Mr. Ken Cavallero has recently accepted the position of Emergency Disaster Services Coordinator for The Salvation Army’s Western Territory. Ken has served with the Army since 1993 as divisional disaster services director in northern California for both Del Oro and Golden State divisions.

Cavallero’s abundant experience includes 30 years as a Paramedic Engineer and Relief Captain for the Novato Fire Protection District; he received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force, with the rank of Staff Sergeant, in his early career.

Most recently, he participated in The Salvation Army relief efforts for Haiti by serving as the Operations Chief for SAWSO (Salvation Army World Service Office) at National Headquarters. His other notable deployments include the 9/11 New York attack where he served as Operations Chief, and California wild fires, floods, and earthquakes.

Cavallero currently resides in northern California with his wife. Together they enjoy their six grandchildren.
