Territorial Headquarters and the College for Officer Training have great things planned for Commissioning 2000, which features General Paul A. Rader (R) and Commissioner Kay F. Rader (R) as special guests. The following information will be helpful in planning your weekend:

Tickets

Tickets for the Saturday night musical are $5 each if pre-purchased or $6.50 at the box office. Tickets for Sunday meetings are free of charge. Tickets are required for entrance into all Saturday and Sunday events at the Cerritos Center for Performing Arts. Please fill out a ticket order form and send it, along with any payment, to the Territorial Program Department by May 20. Tickets will be issued and mailed back on a “first come, first served” basis upon receipt of order forms. If you miss this deadline for ordering of tickets, you will have to pick up tickets at the box office. This year, tickets will not be numbered; however, you will have to sit in the section that your ticket is for. This means you will have a better chance of sitting with friends and/or family (provided they have tickets for the same section as you). Ticket order forms will be printed in New Frontier and also mailed directly to each unit. As has been the case in previous years, if you are not in a seat 15 minutes before each program, the house will resort to open seating.

Childcare

There will be a fee of $5 per child per session for childcare ($3 per child if there are more than one in a family), which will be at the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel (at the Performing Arts Center Complex). Preregistration is advised.

Childcare will accept children up to age 5 on Saturday and children up to age 8 on Sunday. Childcare will open 30 minutes before each event and will close 30 minutes after. Please comply with these time constraints!

Once you have registered your children in childcare, please do not visit them. Mothers of infants will need to make feeding arrangements when leaving their children. Please make sure you send in a completed childcare registration form to the Territorial Youth Department no later than May 20.

A childcare registration form is printed below. Forms will also be mailed directly to each Salvation Army unit.
