Dear Comrades:

A decision has now been made to convene an International Millennial Congress in the United States of America in July 2000. Colonel Raymond Cooper, Chief Secretary for the USA Central Territory, has been appointed Chair of the Congress Committee and Executive Officer. This appointment is in addition to his current responsibilities. Salvationists around the world will want to be aware of the plan to convene the congress in order to begin now to pray for this historic gathering of Salvationists, and to prepare to attend.

Further details with regard to the venue for the Congress will be forthcoming.
