The Intermountain Division and its advisory board members recently thanked members of the William Booth Society for their generous support at a reception held at CABLELAND, the official residence of the Mayor of Denver.

During the event, General Eva Burrows (Ret.), Colorado Lt. Governor Jane E. Norton, Lt. Colonel Raymond Peacock, Colonel George Church, and Richard Tucker, Metro Denver advisory board life member and national advisory board member, all spoke on how The Salvation Army is Doing the Most Good.

While in the West, Burrows also spoke at the Colorado Springs Corps, accompanied by divisional leaders Lt. Colonels Raymond and Carolyn Peacock. “A full chapel heard her preach on John 8:31-36,” stated Corps Officer Capt. David Howarth, “encouraging an acceptance of freedom in Christ.” During the meeting, Wayne and Shelly Tombleson were enrolled as senior soldiers, and Laura and Ivy Malmgram were enrolled as junior soldiers; Major Wildonna Rich was bid farewell.
