“Heme Aquí” tema para el Campamento Familiar



A FAMILY ENJOYS the carnival activities during the So. California Division’s Latino Family Camp.

Once again, many families came together for a weekend of praise, worship, learning and lots of fun. “Here I am Lord” was the theme for the So. Cal Division’s Latino Family Camp.

After registration Friday night, everyone gathered in Flick Hall for a time of worship and a challenging message given by Captain Abigail Diaz.

Saturday we had two workshops for adults “Here I am…fill me” referring to families being filled with the Holy Spirit of God, under the leadership of Captain Salvador Gonzalez and “Here I am…Renew me!” referring to building better families, under the leadership of Capt. Oscar Juracan, Long Beach Temple.

“Passport to Purity” was the special program for teens and older adults, under the leadership of Captain Oscar Tippol from Santa Ana Temple.

A carnival was held on Saturday afternoon. Saturday night we had Gamaliel and his band GRB who ministered with their singing and testimony to more than 150 teenagers. In the camp fire pit the rest of the family was enjoying another program.

On Sunday the word of God came down with the message of Lt. Colonel Alfred R. Van Cleef.

Many lives were touched by the Holy Spirit, families prayed together and many first time commitments were made. Some accepted God’s calling to full time ministry.

Praise God for divisional leaders Lt. Colonels Alfred and Sherryl Van Cleef for their support, also to Captain Mario Reyes and corps officers of the Southern California Division for their support to Latino Family Camp.

Una vez mas muchas familias se juntaron para un fin de semana lleno de alabanza, adoración, aprendizaje y mucha diversión. “Heme Aquí” fue el tema para el Campamento Familiar de este año.

Después de la registración el viernes en la noche, todos se juntaron en Flick Hall para un tiempo de alabanza y un poderoso mensaje por la Capitana Abigail Díaz (San Fernando Valley.

El sábado tuvimos dos talleres para los adultos. ” Heme aquí…..tócame” referiendose a las familias llenas del Espíritu Santo de Dios, bajo el liderazgo del Capitán Salvador González (Eastmont Temple) y “Heme aquí……renuévame” referiendose a construir mejores familias, bajo el liderazgo del Capitán Oscar Juracan. (Long Beach Temple)

“Pasaporte a la Pureza” fue el tema especial para los adolescentes y jóvenes adultos, bajo el liderazgo del Capitán Oscar Tippol del Cuerpo de Santa Ana. El carnaval el día sábado fue excelente. El sábado en la noche, los jóvenes tuvieron un gran concierto con Gamaliel Ruiz y su banda, quienes ministraron con su canto y testimonio a mas de 150 jóvenes. En otro lado del campamento el resto de la familia pudo disfrutar de otro programa.

El domingo la palabra de Dios estuvo viva con el mensaje traído por el Teniente Coronel Alfred R. Van Cleef. Muchas vidas fueron tocadas por el espíritu santo, familias oraron juntas y muchas personas aceptaron a Jesús como su Salvador por primera vez. Algunos aceptaron el llamado de Dios a servirle tiempo completo.

Alabado sea Dios por los Coroneles Van Cleef, por su apoyo, también por el Capitán Mario Reyes y los oficiales de la División del Sur de California.
