Welcome the Ambassadors of Holiness on Sept. 12.

Commissioners Philip and Patricia Swyers extend a warm invitation to you to be part of an exciting moment in our territory’s history, as we publicly welcome 43 new cadets representing all ten divisions of the Western Territory. The Ambassadors of Holiness Session (2009-2011) will be the largest in several years, and for this we give thanks to God for his continued blessings.

At the public Welcome Meeting, these new cadets will join the 27 second year cadets and over 40 prospective candidates and candidates in process in an evening of celebration and worship. The Ambassadors of Holiness will present themselves for training, with open minds and hearts, ready to learn and love all that it means to be a Salvation Army officer. Commissioner Philip Swyers will accept them for training, thanking God for those at the corps and divisional level who have encouraged and prepared them for this journey.

Commissioners Harold and Betty Hinson, distinguished Army leaders, will be the territory’s special guests for this occasion, and will provide thought-provoking messages of challenge and spiritual growth to the cadets and congregation. Adding to the celebratory mood of the meeting will be the music provided by the excellent and committed musicians of the Tustin Ranch Corps Band.
