Young Life’s Washington Family Ranch in Antelope, Oregon, hosted The Salvation Army Cascade Division’s recent youth councils—a weekend designed for teens and young adults to learn about the love of Jesus and to have fun. Over 200 Cascade youth attended, celebrating the theme, “Outcry.”

Nestled in the high desert, the ranch’s amenities include a lake, climbing tower, giant swing, zip line, skate park and sports center.

Leaders challenged the youth to cry out to the Lord with their needs and to go into the world as messengers of God’s love. Psalm 40:1 reminded them that if they “wait patiently for the Lord, he will turn to them and hear their cry.”
